Theresa Garland
Service Officer - Army
Theresa Garland serves as a 23-year U.S. Army Retired Combat Signal Corps Master Sergeant with distinction, supporting Joint Task Force Units in aid of Hurricane Mitch recovery. With several successful missions under her belt, she has had the opportunity to travel across all 50 states.
Experiencing different cultures and serving in combat helped her develop her ability to adapt to different tasks and difficult situations while dealing with casualty affairs, bereavement, mortuary affairs, domestic and family violence cases.
Over 10 years experience as a Veteran Service Officer, with skillset experience as a Training Program Facilitator/Office Manager/ Veterans Benefits Counselor/for various organizations, and has worked extensively with military, sexual trauma, domestic violence focus and peer groups.
Wally's wife and the proud mother of a blended family, she has two daughters, their husbands, two sons, and a new addition to the family, Odin, a Boxer-pit.
