Robert retired from the US Army in 2018 with 20 years of service, 8 as an enlisted Arabic Voice Intercept Linguist and 12 as a Signal Officer. Robert served in multiple Special Operations units and the 82nd Airborne Division, completing his tour of duty at the US Army Cyber Command. He received a Bronze Star for Valor along with a Combat Action Badge for his actions in the Shah-i-Kowt Valley in Afghanistan in 2002.
Robert lives in Anacortes with his wife Erica, a dog and 3 cats.
